The Rules

Adverest works because every climber plays by the same visible rules.

1. 01

   Bids are denominated in USD and rankings use cumulative confirmed bids.

2. 02

   A higher total ranks above a lower total. If totals tie, the website that reached that amount first stays higher.

3. 03

   Participants can increase an existing bid by adding any permitted amount.

4. 04

   Any successful bid may appear temporarily in Recent Climbers.

5. 05

   A cumulative total of $100 unlocks eligibility for the rotating Featured Climbers pool; continuous placement is not guaranteed.

6. 06

   Every position can be overtaken. Visits, leads, sales and other commercial results are never guaranteed.

7. 07

   Fraudulent, illegal, explicit, deceptive, malware-hosting or otherwise harmful websites are prohibited.

8. 08

   URL shorteners, deceptive redirects and sites that evade review may be rejected or removed.

9. 09

   Future real payments will be governed by payment terms and credited only after server-side confirmation.
